london transport museum. an interactive and educational
game for up to four players to provide learning and fun for visitors to London's newly
refurbished Transport Museum.
As part of its £20million refurbishment, London's Transport Museum sought a variety of
educational games for its learning zone, encouraging more people to use the museum as an
educational resource.
Sponsored by global technology services giant, EDS, we developed a games-based learning
exhibit to provide a fun way for visitors to find out what they have really learned during
their time in the museum.
The London Dash is an interactive 3D game, which invites up to four players to compete and
test their transport knowledge. In a race to reach the centre of London, players must answer
rapid fire, multiple choice and trivia questions to win the game.
Different levels of difficulty enable everyone to have a go. The Museum can keep the game
current or create customised experiences via an administration interface. The game is installed
in the museum and makes clever use of projections onto side walls to allow groups of people to
participate.
This project truly demonstrates the flexibility of our entertainment platform and diverse
range of solutions that can be developed.
